The Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County (VNA) has exciting career opportunities for individuals who value quality of care and want to make a difference in their patient’s quality of life. We value clinicians who are independent, motivated and possess strong clinical skills.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
- RN Case Managers: Full time
- Per diem RNs: Flexible days and hours; Weekdays, evenings or weekends
VNA nurses provide one-on-one patient care with an emphasis on patient/caregiver teaching, treatments, including wound care and IV therapy; and assessments of the patient and home environment.
Our patients offer diverse medical diagnoses and health challenges that allow our staff the opportunity to have a variety of patient care experiences. Our patients frequently have conditions such as diabetes, heart and lung disease, cancer and complex wounds.
Our Full-Time Case Managers guide the patient’s care from admission to discharge, assisting the patient to access all the services offered by our agency or in the community. Through the Case Manager’s planning, the patient is provided the opportunity to remain at home and be independent in managing their health care needs.
