ERIE, PA – This Sunday at 1pm in Perry Square the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County will hold its 10th annual Wings of Hope Memorial Butterfly Release. The agency’s signature event is both a moving memorial service and its largest fundraiser of the year.
500 Monarch Butterflies will be released at the end of this moving, hour long memorial service. The butterflies are still available for a $25 donation. Register at ErieVNA.org or by calling 454-2831. Walk-ups will also be available the day of the event. Everyone is invited to attend.
“This 10th annual event will be amazing,” Said Dan Desrochers, Director of Development at the VNA. “We still have lots of butterflies available; it’s not too late to participate!”
