11th Annual Wings of Hope Memorial Butterfly Release this Sunday!

ERIE, PA – The Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County’s 11th annual Wings of Hope Memorial Butterfly Release is being held at 1pm at Edinboro University’s Porreco Center on Sunday August 2nd. The keynote speaker this year is former U.S. Congressman Phil English.
The Wings of Hope Memorial Butterfly Release is a beautiful hour long ceremony features singing by Daniel Cabanillas, a reading of the names of those memorialized and culminates with the release of 500 live monarch butterflies (the unofficial symbol of hospice care). The butterflies are available for a $25 donation and proceeds benefit the Erie VNA’s hospice program. Register at ErieVNA.org or call 454-2831.
