ERIE, PA – After 11 years of working at the Community Blood Bank, Dan Desrochers has been hired by the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County as their new Director of Development. The transition, while busy, has been smooth with Desrochers shifting from one well-respected health care non-profit in Erie County to another. So far Desrochers has been learning all about Hospice and Home Healthcare and he’s getting the VNA’s social media up and running with a new Twitter account, @ErieVNA.
This 108 year old non-profit has numerous programs and events throughout the year to help fulfill its mission to provide quality home health care and hospice services to the residents of Erie County regardless of their ability to pay.
“I am so pleased to be here,” Said Dan Desrochers, Director of Development at the VNA. “It’s a terrific opportunity for new things while getting out a very important message. Quality Home Health and Hospice Care are so important to our community.”
Since 1906, the mission of VNA of Erie County is to provide quality, cost effective home health care services to residents of Erie County, regardless of the ability to pay.
