Local businesses pitch in to celebrate
ERIE, PA – Nurses Week (May 6-May 12th) is being celebrated in a big way at the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County. Local businesses have stepped up with some wonderful gifts to celebrate our nurses this week. Their hard work and dedication help some many local patients in need.
On Tuesday celebrations start with the Breakfast Place bringing a wonderful breakfast spread and they’re giving each nurse a $10 gift card as a thank you. Larese Floral is donating flowers and there’ll be a cake on Thursday. This Friday Teresa’s Deli is donating lunch certificates to the nurses as well.
“We are so lucky that we have such dedicated nurses,” Said Dan Desrochers, Director of Development at the VNA. “We are so grateful for the support and thank you’s from these local businesses too.”
Since 1906, the mission of VNA of Erie County is to provide quality, cost effective home health care services to residents of Erie County, regardless of the ability to pay.
